# §2231. Change of name

- (a) **Former United States Tariff Commission—** The [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8) Tariff [Commission](/usc/19/1677.md?p=2) (established by [section 1330 of this title](/usc/19/1330.md)) is renamed as the [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8) International Trade [Commission](/usc/19/1677.md?p=2).
- (b) **References in law and other documents—** Any reference in any law of the [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8), or in any order, rule, regulation, or other document, to the [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8) Tariff [Commission](/usc/19/1677.md?p=2) (or the Tariff [Commission](/usc/19/1677.md?p=2)) shall be considered to refer to the [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8) International Trade [Commission](/usc/19/1677.md?p=2).
