# §2115. Bilateral trade agreements


If the President determines that bilateral trade agreements will more effectively promote the economic growth of, and full employment in, the [United States](/usc/19/2319.md?p=8), then, in such cases, a negotiating [objective](/usc/19/2576b.md?p=3) under sections [2111](/usc/19/2111.md) and [2112](/usc/19/2112.md) of this title shall be to enter into bilateral trade agreements. Each such trade agreement shall provide for mutually advantageous economic benefits.
