# §1683c. Export charge determination and publication

- (a) **Determination—** The Under [Secretary](/usc/19/1681.md?p=1) for International Trade of the Department of Commerce shall determine, on a monthly basis, any [export charges](/usc/19/1683.md?p=4) (expressed as a percentage of [export price](/usc/19/1683.md?p=5-A)) to be collected by a [country of export](/usc/19/1683.md?p=2) from exporters of softwood lumber or softwood lumber products described in [section 1683b(a) of this title](/usc/19/1683b.md?p=a) in order to ensure compliance with any international agreement entered into by that [country](/usc/19/1677.md?p=3) and the [United States](/usc/19/1683.md?p=9).
- (b) **Publication—** The Under [Secretary](/usc/19/1681.md?p=1) for International Trade shall immediately publish any determination made under [subsection (a)](#a) on the website of the International Trade Administration of the Department of Commerce, and in any other manner the Under [Secretary](/usc/19/1681.md?p=1) considers appropriate.
