# §928. Separability


If any provision of this chapter or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the chapter and the application of such provision to other [persons](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) not similarly situated or to other circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
