# §756. Internee of belligerent nation


[Whoever](/usc/18/921.md?p=a-1), within the jurisdiction of the [United States](/usc/18/229F.md?p=9), aids or entices any [person](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) belonging to the armed forces of a belligerent nation or faction who is interned in the [United States](/usc/18/229F.md?p=9) in accordance with the law of nations, to escape or attempt to escape from the jurisdiction of the [United States](/usc/18/229F.md?p=9) or from the limits of internment prescribed, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
