# §753. Rescue to prevent execution


[Whoever](/usc/18/921.md?p=a-1), by force, sets at liberty or rescues any [person](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) found guilty in any court of the [United States](/usc/18/229F.md?p=9) of any capital crime, while going to execution or during execution, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty-five years, or both.
