# §3295. Arson offenses


No person shall be prosecuted, tried, or punished for any non-capital [offense](/usc/18/3156.md?p=a-2) under [section 81](/usc/18/81.md) or subsection [(f)](/usc/18/844.md?p=f), [(h)](/usc/18/844.md?p=h), or [(i)](/usc/18/844.md?p=i) of section 844 unless the indictment is found or the information is instituted not later than 10 years after the date on which the [offense](/usc/18/3156.md?p=a-2) was committed.
