# §2339. Harboring or concealing terrorists

- (a) [Whoever](/usc/18/921.md?p=a-1) harbors or conceals any [person](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) who he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe, has committed, or is about to commit, an offense under [section 32](/usc/18/32.md) (relating to destruction of [aircraft](/usc/18/31.md?p=a-1) or [aircraft](/usc/18/31.md?p=a-1) facilities), [section 175](/usc/18/175.md) (relating to biological weapons), [section 229](/usc/18/229.md) (relating to [chemical weapons](/usc/18/229F.md?p=1)), [section 831](/usc/18/831.md) (relating to nuclear materials), paragraph [(2)](/usc/18/844.md?p=f-2) or [(3)](/usc/18/844.md?p=f-3) of section 844(f) (relating to arson and bombing of government property risking or causing injury or death), [section 1366(a)](/usc/18/1366.md?p=a) (relating to the destruction of an energy facility), [section 2280](/usc/18/2280.md) (relating to violence against maritime navigation), [section 2332a](/usc/18/2332a.md) (relating to weapons of mass destruction), or [section 2332b](/usc/18/2332b.md) (relating to acts of [terrorism](/usc/18/921.md?p=a-22) transcending national boundaries) of this title, section 236(a) (relating to sabotage of nuclear facilities or fuel) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 ([42 U.S.C. 2284(a)](/usc/42/2284.md?p=a)), or section 46502 (relating to [aircraft](/usc/18/31.md?p=a-1) piracy) of [title 49](/usc/49.md), shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
- (b) A violation of this section may be prosecuted in any Federal judicial district in which the underlying offense was committed, or in any other Federal judicial district as provided by law.
