# §1117. Conspiracy to murder


If two or more [persons](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) conspire to violate section [1111](/usc/18/1111.md), [1114](/usc/18/1114.md), [1116](/usc/18/1116.md), or [1119](/usc/18/1119.md) of this title, and one or more of such [persons](/usc/18/229F.md?p=5) do any overt act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be punished by imprisonment for any term of years or for life.
