# §773b. Acceptance or rejection of Commission recommendations


The Secretary of State, with the concurrence of the [Secretary](/usc/16/773.md?p=g), may accept or reject, on behalf of the United States, recommendations made by the [Commission](/usc/16/773.md?p=b) in accordance with article III of the [Convention](/usc/16/773.md?p=a) and paragraphs 14 and 15 of the annex to the [Convention](/usc/16/773.md?p=a).
