# §718k. Use of fees collected for Federal migratory bird permits


On and after October 21, 1998, all fees collected for Federal migratory bird permits shall be available to the [Secretary](/usc/16/718j.md?p=b-3), without further appropriation, to be used for the expenses of the U.S. [Fish and Wildlife](/usc/16/3102.md?p=17) Service in administering such Federal migratory bird permits, and shall remain available until expended.
