# §715p. Cooperation of State in enforcement of provisions


When any [State](/usc/16/718j.md?p=b-4) shall, by suitable legislation, make provision adequately to enforce the provisions of this subchapter and all regulations promulgated thereunder, the [Secretary](/usc/16/718j.md?p=b-3) of the Interior may so certify, and then and thereafter said [State](/usc/16/718j.md?p=b-4) may cooperate with the [Secretary](/usc/16/718j.md?p=b-3) of the Interior in the enforcement of this subchapter and the regulations thereunder.
