# §7141. Definitions


In this subchapter:

- (1) **County funds—** The term “county funds” means all funds an [eligible county](/usc/16/7102.md?p=4) elects under [section 7112(d) of this title](/usc/16/7112.md?p=d) to reserve for expenditure in accordance with this subchapter.
- (2) **Participating county—** The term “[participating county](/usc/16/7121.md?p=1)” means an [eligible county](/usc/16/7102.md?p=4) that elects under [section 7112(d) of this title](/usc/16/7112.md?p=d) to expend a portion of the Federal funds received under [section 7112 of this title](/usc/16/7112.md) in accordance with this subchapter.
