# §7128. Termination of authority

- (a) **In general—** The authority to initiate [projects](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) under this subchapter shall terminate on September 30, 2028.
- (b) **Deposits in Treasury—** Any [project funds](/usc/16/7121.md?p=2) not obligated by September 30, 2029, shall be deposited in the Treasury of the United States.
