# §698u–6. Restriction on authority


Nothing in sections [698u](/usc/16/698u.md) to [698u–7](/usc/16/698u–7.md) of this title shall give the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) authority to regulate lands outside the land [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) acquired by the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) under [section 698u–4(a) of this title](/usc/16/698u–4.md?p=a).
