# §689a. Other uses of land permitted in Tahquitz National Game Preserve


The lands included in said game [preserve](/usc/16/698u–1.md?p=2) shall continue to be parts of the national forest and nothing contained in sections [689](/usc/16/689.md) to [689d](/usc/16/689d.md) of this title shall prevent the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of Agriculture from permitting other uses of said lands under and in conformity with the laws and rules and regulations applicable thereto so far as any such use may be consistent with the purposes for which said game [preserve](/usc/16/698u–1.md?p=2) is established.
