# §6855. Cooperation and coordination

- (a) **Third-party providers—** The [Secretaries](/usc/16/6851.md?p=4) may enter into an agreement with a third party to carry out any provision of this chapter.
- (b) **US Geological Survey—** The [Secretaries](/usc/16/6851.md?p=4) shall work with the Director of the United States Geological Survey to collect, aggregate, digitize, standardize, or publish data on behalf of the [Secretaries](/usc/16/6851.md?p=4) to meet the requirements of this chapter.
