# §666e. Administration of acquired lands


Any lands acquired by the [Secretary](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=12) of the Interior under the terms of this section and [section 666d of this title](/usc/16/666d.md), if located within or adjacent to an existing [wildlife](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=7) [refuge](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=11) or reservation, immediately shall become a part of such [refuge](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=11) or reservation and shall be administered under the laws and regulations applicable thereto, and, if not so located, may be administered as a migratory-waterfowl [management](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=4) [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A), [refuge](/usc/16/668ee.md?p=11), reservation, or breeding ground in accordance with the provisions of the Act of August 14, 1946 (60 Stat. 1080), and Acts supplementary thereto.
