# §6451. Establishment


There is established a task force to lead, coordinate, and strengthen Federal Government actions to better [preserve](/usc/16/698u–1.md?p=2), conserve, and restore [coral reef ecosystems](/usc/16/6456.md?p=2), to be known as the “United States [Coral Reef](/usc/16/6456.md?p=2) Task Force” (in this subchapter referred to as the “Task Force”).
