# §5005. Commission recommendations


The [Secretary](/usc/16/5002.md?p=16), with the concurrence of the [Secretary](/usc/16/5002.md?p=16) of Commerce, may accept or reject, on behalf of the United States, recommendations made by the [Commission](/usc/16/5002.md?p=4) in accordance with article IX of the [Convention](/usc/16/5002.md?p=5).
