# §482h–3. Perfection of mining claims


Valid mining claims within the said lands, existing on June 11, 1946, and thereafter maintained in compliance with the law under which they were initiated and the laws of the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Arizona, may be perfected under sections [482h–1](/usc/16/482h–1.md) to 482h–3 of this title, or under the laws under which they were initiated, as the claimant may desire.
