# §460zzz. Definitions


In this subchapter:

- (1) **Conservation Area—** The term “[Conservation Area](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=2)” means the Dominguez-Escalante National [Conservation Area](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=2) established by [section 460zzz–1(a)(1) of this title](/usc/16/460zzz–1.md?p=a-1).
- (2) **Council—** The term “Council” means the Dominguez-Escalante National [Conservation Area](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=2) Advisory Council established under [section 460zzz–6 of this title](/usc/16/460zzz–6.md).
- (3) **Management plan—** The term “[management plan](/usc/16/460yyy.md?p=2)” means the [management plan](/usc/16/460yyy.md?p=2) developed under [section 460zzz–5 of this title](/usc/16/460zzz–5.md).
- (4) **Map—** The term “Map” means the map entitled “Dominguez-Escalante National [Conservation Area](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=2)” and dated September 15, 2008.
- (5) **Secretary—** The term “[Secretary](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=1)” means the [Secretary](/usc/16/460iii–1.md?p=1) of the Interior.
- (6) **State—** The term “State” means the State of Colorado.
- (7) **Wilderness—** The term “Wilderness” means the Dominguez Canyon Wilderness [Area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) designated by [section 460zzz–2(a) of this title](/usc/16/460zzz–2.md?p=a).
