# §460x–6. Taxing power


Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed as prohibiting any governmental jurisdiction in the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Michigan from assessing taxes upon any interest in real estate retained under the provisions of [section 460x–9 of this title](/usc/16/460x–9.md) to the [owner](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) of such interest.
