# §460lll–27. Designation of national recreation trail


Effective on the date of transfer pursuant to [section 460lll–41](/usc/16/460lll–41.md) of this title, the North-South Trail is designated as a national recreation trail under [section 1243 of this title](/usc/16/1243.md).
