# §460l–19. Feasibility reports


Effective on and after July 1, 1966, neither the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior nor any bureau nor any [person](/usc/16/450rr–1.md?p=b) acting under his authority shall engage in the preparation of any [feasibility report](/usc/16/460l–21.md?p=d) under reclamation law with respect to any water resource [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) unless the preparation of such [feasibility report](/usc/16/460l–21.md?p=d) has been specifically authorized by law, any other provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding.
