# §460dd–9. Authorization of appropriations; limitation


There are hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this subchapter, not to exceed, however, $400,000 for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of lands and interests in lands and not to exceed $37,325,400 for development. The sums authorized in this section shall be available for [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) and development undertaken subsequent to the approval of this subchapter.
