# §459b–5. Certificate of suspension of authority for acquisition by condemnation


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) shall furnish to any party in interest requesting the same, a certificate indicating, with respect to any property located within the seashore as to which the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1)’s authority to [acquire](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) such property by condemnation has been suspended in accordance with the provisions of sections [459b](/usc/16/459b.md) to [459b–8](/usc/16/459b–8.md) of this title, that such authority has been so suspended and the reasons therefor.
