# §459a–7. Availability of appropriations


Any funds appropriated to the Department of the Interior for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of non-[Federal lands](/usc/16/620e.md?p=2) within [areas](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) of the National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) System shall after August 6, 1956, be available for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of non-[Federal lands](/usc/16/620e.md?p=2) within the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational [Area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A), and the appropriation of funds for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of such lands is authorized.
