# §459a–5a. Addition of lands; Hatteras


The tracts of excess [Federal lands](/usc/16/620e.md?p=2) and improvements thereon in the village of Hatteras, Dare County, North Carolina, bearing General Services Administration control numbers T–NC–442 and C–NC–444, comprising forty-three one-hundredths and one and five-tenths acres of land, respectively, the exact descriptions for which shall be determined by the [Administrator](/usc/16/450rr–1.md?p=a) of General Services, are transferred, without exchange of funds, to the administrative jurisdiction of the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior to be administered as a part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational [Area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A), authorized by sections [459](/usc/16/459.md) to [459a–3](/usc/16/459a–3.md) of this title, and shall be subject to all the laws and regulations applicable thereto.
