# §450ff–4. Acquisition of lands


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior may [acquire](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) in such manner as he may consider to be in the public interest the non-[Federal lands](/usc/16/620e.md?p=2) and interests in lands within the revised boundaries.
