# §4413. Other agreements


The [Secretary](/usc/16/4402.md?p=7) shall undertake with the appropriate officials of nations in the Western Hemisphere to establish [agreements](/usc/16/4402.md?p=1), modeled after the Plan or the [Agreement](/usc/16/4402.md?p=1), for the protection of [migratory birds](/usc/16/4402.md?p=5) identified in [section 2912(a)(5) of this title](/usc/16/2912.md?p=a-5). When any such [agreements](/usc/16/4402.md?p=1) are reached, the [Secretary](/usc/16/4402.md?p=7) shall make recommendations to the [appropriate Committees](/usc/16/4402.md?p=2) on legislation necessary to implement the [agreements](/usc/16/4402.md?p=1).
