# §430h–1. Donations of land and property


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior is authorized, in his discretion, to accept, in behalf of the United States, donations of lands, buildings, structures, and other property, or interests therein, within a distance of one mile of the present boundaries of the Vicksburg National Military [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), which he may determine to be of historical interest in connection with said [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), the title to such property or interests therein to be satisfactory to the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior.

All such property or interests therein, upon acceptance thereof, shall become a part of the Vicksburg National Military [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) and shall be subject to all laws and regulations applicable thereto.
