# §4265. Acceptance and use of donations


The [Secretary](/usc/16/4263.md?p=4) may accept and use donations to provide assistance under [section 4264 of this title](/usc/16/4264.md). Amounts received by the [Secretary](/usc/16/4263.md?p=4) in the form of donations shall be transferred to the [Secretary](/usc/16/4263.md?p=4) of the Treasury for deposit into the [Fund](/usc/16/4263.md?p=3).
