# §425c. Commission; organization


The affairs of the said Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battle Fields [Memorial](/usc/16/450ss–1.md?p=2) shall, subject to the supervision and direction of the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior, be in charge of three commissioners, consisting of Army officers, civilians, or both, to be appointed by the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior, one of whom shall be designated as chairman and another as [secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the [commission](/usc/16/544.md?p=c).
