# §422a. Acceptance of lands


The establishment of the Moores Creek National Battlefield shall be carried forward under the control and direction of the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior, who is authorized to receive from the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of North Carolina a deed of conveyance to the United States of all the lands belonging to the said [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a), embracing thirty acres, more or less, and described more particularly in [section 422 of this title](/usc/16/422.md).
