# §410ww–7. Assistance

- (a) **Technical and preservation assistance—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) may provide to any [owner](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) of property within the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), and to any organization having an agreement with the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) under [section 410ww–1(b) of this title](/usc/16/410ww–1.md?p=b), such technical assistance as the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) considers appropriate to carry out the purposes of this subchapter.
- (b) **Grant assistance—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) is authorized to make grants to the [parks](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3)’ partners, including the Aviation Trail, Inc., the Ohio Historical Society, and Dayton History, for [projects](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) not requiring Federal involvement other than providing financial assistance, subject to the availability of appropriations in advance identifying the specific partner grantee and the specific [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4). [Projects](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) funded through these grants shall be limited to construction and development on non-Federal property within the boundaries of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3). Any [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) funded by such a grant shall support the purposes of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), shall be consistent with the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3)’s general [management plan](/usc/16/544.md?p=k), and shall enhance public use and enjoyment of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3).
- (c) **Interpretative materials—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) is authorized to publish interpretative materials for historic aviation resources in the Miami Valley.
