# §410p. Authorization of appropriations

- (a) There are authorized to be appropriated such sums, but not more than $22,000,000 in all, as are required for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of land, water, and interests therein held in private ownership within the boundaries of Everglades National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) as fixed by [section 410i of this title](/usc/16/410i.md) and outside the [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) described in sections [410e](/usc/16/410e.md) to [410h](/usc/16/410h.md) of this title.
- (b) In [addition](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-2) to the amount authorized in [subsection (a)](#a) of this section there is authorized to be appropriated such amount, not in excess of $700,200, as is necessary for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1), in accordance with the provisions of sections [410i](/usc/16/410i.md) to 410p of this title, of the following described privately owned lands:

  Sections [3](/usc/16/3.md), [4](/usc/16/4.md), and [5](/usc/16/5.md); [section 6](/usc/16/6.md), less the west half of the northwest quarter; sections [7](/usc/16/7.md), [8](/usc/16/8.md), [9](/usc/16/9.md), and 10; north half of [section 15](/usc/16/15.md); and sections [17](/usc/16/17.md) and [18](/usc/16/18.md), all in township 59 south, range 37 east, Tallahassee meridian.
