# §410iii–6. Management of Park

- (a) **Management plan—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=4), in consultation with the [Commission](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=1), shall prepare a [management plan](/usc/16/544.md?p=k) for the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3). In particular, the [management plan](/usc/16/544.md?p=k) shall contain provisions to address the needs of [owners](/usc/16/429b–3.md?p=4) of non-[Federal land](/usc/16/3102.md?p=2), including independent nonprofit organizations within the boundaries of the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3).
- (b) **Submission of plan to Congress—** Not later than 3 years after December 19, 2002, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=4) shall submit the [management plan](/usc/16/544.md?p=k) for the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) to the Committee on Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate.
