# §410iii–11. Roles of key partner organizations

- (a) **In general—** In recognition that central portions of the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) are presently owned and operated for the benefit of the public by key partner organizations, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=4) shall acknowledge and support the continued participation of these partner organizations in the management of the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3).
- (b) **Park partners—** Roles of the current key partners include the following:
  - (1) **Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation—** The Cedar Creek Battlefield [Foundation](/usc/16/450ss–1.md?p=1) may—
    - (A) continue to own, operate, and manage the lands acquired by the [Foundation](/usc/16/450ss–1.md?p=1) within the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3);
    - (B) continue to conduct reenactments and other events within the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3); and
    - (C) transfer ownership interest in portions of their land to the National [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) Service by donation, sale, or other means that meet the legal requirements of National [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) Service land [acquisitions](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1).
  - (2) **National Trust for Historic Preservation and Belle Grove Incorporated—** The National [Trust](/usc/16/450ss–1.md?p=4) for Historic Preservation and Belle Grove Incorporated may continue to own, operate, and manage Belle Grove Plantation and its structures and grounds within the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) boundary. Belle Grove Incorporated may continue to own the house and grounds known as Bowman’s Fort or Harmony Hall for the purpose of permanent preservation, with a long-term goal of opening the property to the public.
  - (3) **Shenandoah County—** Shenandoah County may continue to own, operate, and manage the Keister [park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) site within the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) for the benefit of the public.
  - (4) **Park community partners—** The [Secretary](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=4) shall cooperate with the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3)’s adjacent historic towns of Strasburg and Middletown, Virginia, as well as Frederick, Shenandoah, and Warren [counties](/usc/16/544.md?p=d) in furthering the purposes of the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3).
  - (5) **Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation—** The Shenandoah Valley Battlefields [Foundation](/usc/16/450ss–1.md?p=1) may continue to administer and manage the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National Historic District in partnership with the National [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) Service and in accordance with the [Management Plan](/usc/16/544.md?p=k) for the District in which the [Park](/usc/16/410iii–2.md?p=3) is located.
