# §410gg–3. Report as to suitability for designation as wilderness area; compliance with procedure for such designation


Within three complete fiscal years from the effective date of this subchapter, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) shall review the [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) within the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) and shall report to the President and the Congress, in accordance with [section 1132(c)](/usc/16/1132.md?p=c) and (d) of this title, his recommendations as to the suitability or nonsuitability of any [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) within the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) for designation as [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13). Any designation of any such [areas](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) as [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13) shall be accomplished in accordance with said [section 1132(c)](/usc/16/1132.md?p=c) and (d).
