# §410eeee–9. Cooperation


The [Secretary](/usc/16/410eee–1.md?p=2) of the Army shall cooperate with the [Secretary](/usc/16/410eee–1.md?p=2) of the Interior concerning the water requirements of the national river. The [Secretary](/usc/16/410eee–1.md?p=2) of the Army shall provide for release of water from the Bluestone Lake [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4) consistent with that [project](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4)’s purposes and activities in sufficient quantity and in such manner to facilitate protection of biological resources and recreational use of the national river.
