# §410cccc–2. Authorization of appropriations


There are hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums, but not more than $5,422,000, as may be necessary for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of land and interests in land and for the development of the Golden Spike National Historic Site[^1] pursuant to sections [410cccc](/usc/16/410cccc.md) to 410cccc–2 of this title.
