# §410aaa–74. Management of newly acquired lands


Any lands within the boundaries of a [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13) [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) designated under this Act which are acquired by the Federal Government, shall become part of the [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13) [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) within which they are located and shall be managed in accordance with all the provisions of this Act and other laws applicable to such [wilderness](/usc/16/3102.md?p=13) [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A).
