# §410aaa–3. Maps and legal description


Within six months after October 31, 1994, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) shall file [maps](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) and a legal description of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) designated under this part with the [Committee](/usc/16/941b.md?p=1) on Energy and Natural [Resources](/usc/16/410hhh–1.md?p=8) of the United States Senate and the [Committee](/usc/16/941b.md?p=1) on Natural [Resources](/usc/16/410hhh–1.md?p=8) of the United States House of [Representatives](/usc/16/5609.md?p=13). Such [maps](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) and legal description shall have the same force and effect as if included in this part, except that the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) may correct clerical and typographical errors in such legal description and in the [maps](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) referred to in [section 410aaa–1 of this title](/usc/16/410aaa–1.md). The [maps](/usc/16/430f–7.md?p=1) and legal description shall be on file and available for public inspection in the offices of the Superintendent of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) and the Director of the [National Park](/usc/16/410hhh–1.md?p=5) Service, Department of the Interior.
