# §40c. Creation of special fund; expenditure


For the purposes of sections [40a](/usc/16/40a.md) and [40b](/usc/16/40b.md) of this title, the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Treasury is authorized to maintain hereafter in a special fund a sufficient portion of the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) revenues, based upon estimates to be submitted by the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior, and to expend the same upon certification by the [Secretary](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-1) of the Interior.
