# §408d. Addition of lands purchased within boundaries for conservation or forestation purposes


All lands purchased from funds heretofore allocated and made available by Executive order, or otherwise, for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of lands for conservation or forestation purposes within the maximum boundaries of the Isle Royale National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3), as authorized by sections [408](/usc/16/408.md) to [408b](/usc/16/408b.md) of this title, are made a part of the said [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) as fully as if originally acquired for that purpose and the proviso at the end of [section 408 of this title](/usc/16/408.md) shall not be construed so as to prohibit the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of lands in the [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) with the aforesaid funds.
