# §404f. Acquisition of additional lands


All lands purchased from funds heretofore allocated and made available by Executive order, or otherwise, for the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of lands for conservation or forestation purposes within the maximum boundaries of the Mammoth Cave National [Park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) as authorized by [section 404 of this title](/usc/16/404.md), are made a part of the said [park](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-3) as fully as if originally acquired for that purpose and the proviso at the end of [section 404 of this title](/usc/16/404.md) shall not be construed so as to prohibit the [acquisition](/usc/16/620e.md?p=1) of lands in said [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) under funds made available as aforesaid.
