# §346. Exchange of lands


The [Secretary](/usc/16/284j.md?p=1) of the Interior is authorized to exchange, in his discretion, alienated lands in Zion National [Park](/usc/16/284j.md?p=2) for unappropriated and unreserved [public lands](/usc/16/620e.md?p=7) of equal value and approximately equal [area](/usc/16/539m–1.md?p=1-A) in the [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a) of Utah outside of said [park](/usc/16/284j.md?p=2).
