# §3458. Limitation on assistance


In carrying out this subchapter, the [Secretary](/usc/16/3451.md?p=11) shall provide [technical assistance](/usc/16/3451.md?p=13) and [financial assistance](/usc/16/3451.md?p=5) with respect to not more than 450 active [designated areas](/usc/16/3451.md?p=4).
