# §3344. Construction with other laws


Nothing in this chapter shall be construed—

- (1) to diminish Federal, [State](/usc/16/590q.md?p=a), or tribal jurisdiction, responsibility, or rights in the field of resource [enhancement](/usc/16/3302.md?p=8) and management, or control of water resources, submerged lands, or navigable waters; nor to limit the authority of Congress to authorize and fund [projects](/usc/16/410r–5.md?p=c-4); or
- (2) as superseding, modifying, or repealing any existing applicable law, except as provided for in this section.
